London, UK – February 2021 – Whistlebrook Limited, a leading provider of back office solutions for the financial services industry, is pleased to announce that Tilney Smith & Williamson has chosen Whistlebrook’s regulatory reporting system (WIRES®).

WIRES® is scalable to meet the reporting requirements of organisations of all sizes and is recognised by both the Financial Conduct Authority and The Bank of England. WIRES® is available on the cloud, hosted or in-house.

Smith & Williamson (S&W) have been users of the WIRES® system since the product was launched in 2013 and have been advocates of the system ever since. In September 2020, S&W completed its merger with the Tilney Group, making it one of the largest wealth management firms in the UK with more than £51bn in Assets Under Management. From their experience of using the system, S&W were keen to extend their use of WIRES® to the new Tilney entities. Whistlebrook is delighted to announce that the whole Tilney Smith & Williamson group is now live on WIRES® following a very successful implementation project that was completed ahead of time and to budget.

Daniel Lee-Wilkins – Regulatory Reporting Manager said “S&W have used WIRES® for many years and have always been impressed with the product and the service provided by Whistlebrook. As part of the merger with Tilney, S&W were very keen to roll-out the system to the whole group. This allows for all of our regulatory returns to be managed in one place with the appropriate controls. The project ran very smoothly, ahead of time and to budget and we are now very pleased to be live on WIRES® across the group.”

Andy Hudders, Whistlebrook’s Sales and Marketing Director added: “We are delighted that Tilney Smith & Williamson chose to standardise on the WIRES® system across the group. We have had a very good and long-standing relationship with S&W and look forward to our continued partnership.”
