Current vacancies
The hybrid working role will combining working from home, working in either our offices, (Tring Hertfordshire or St Ives, Cambridgeshire,) and less frequently working on our customers sites.
The role reports to the Customer Services Director responsible for the implementation of the Whistlebrook suite of products and the provision of customer support.
The opportunity would suit individuals with experience in: Software implementation/upgrade projects, ideally within the Financial Services sector;
Or
Financial Services in an ALM, treasury or regulatory reporting role looking to move away from Financial Services;
Or
A part or recently qualified accountant looking to broaden their career.
You must have 2 years’ experience in the following:
In deploying regulatory reporting, financial accounting or treasury systems
Or
As an end user in regulatory reporting, financial accounting or treasury systems.
Or
An AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA part or full qualification with financial services sector, hedge accounting, business planning or audit experience.
And all candidates must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.

As a trainer for regulatory software, treasury, planning or financial accounting systems.
As a trainer for excel or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report writing.

The role:
You will be responsible for a portfolio of implementations of the Whistlebrook software products to UK banks or building societies and be responsible for the projects until they go live.
This will include leading the customer engagement and managing all the customer and Whistlebrook stakeholders in the project.
You will oversee deploying the products, supporting their installation and the delivery of the training to end-users.
You will report on the project status, maintain the project governance and look for opportunities to refine and improve our approach to product deployment.
You will be closely supported by the Senior Product Consultant as well as the Whistlebrook technical and support team and a comprehensive long-term personal development program will be provided.
The package
The salary range is £42,500 to £47,500 depending on experience.

A Customer Support Analyst is required to join Whistlebrook, a provider of regulatory submission, business planning and financial reporting software products to the UK Bank and Building Societies with over 140 products built in Microsoft technology and cloud deployable.
The role is to be based at our office in Tring, Hertfordshire and will report to the Customer Services Director responsible for the implementation of the Whistlebrook suite of products and the provision of customer support.
You must have the following:
Worked within a Frontline Support Role, or as a Test Analyst for a minimum of 2 years.
A high standard of numeracy.
Experience of providing professional standards when answering external calls.
Experience of creating and running SQL queries.
An ability to retain and communicate product functional knowledge.
Experience in executing system testing.
Experience in providing feedback on system usability.
Be skilled in support call administration and the detailed capture of relevant information from reporting users.
The following is desirable:
A recognised and relevant testing certification.
Experience of Financial software products, or within the financial sector.
Experience in drafting test scripts.
The role:
Provide front line support to clients via phone and email, documenting and replicating customer problems, and escalating internally as appropriate.
Managing the administration of support calls.
Applying system upgrades both locally and on client sites.
Troubleshooting customer queries both online and offline, working as a team, and individually, to investigate issues finding both short, and long term, resolutions.
Adhere to standards and best practices when called upon to provide testing support to the QA team.
Create test scripts on occasion in line with the testing procedures and standards.
Source suitable test data that is representative of customer business practices.
Salary and package
The package
The salary is £30,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.
