Whistlebrook is a long-term Microsoft Gold Partner and has developed a broad product suite for financial services all built within the Microsoft development framework.

Located in Tring and Cambridge, Whistlebrook provides regulatory reporting software that supported Allica’s banking licence application and approval last year.

Allica Bank has also committed to deploy Whistlebrook’s taxation reporting service, for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) single customer view, and also Whistlebrook’s unique interest income recognition accounting product.

Whistlebrook’s products can be deployed “on-premise” or within the Cloud.

Simon Bateman, Chief Information Officer at Allica Bank, said: “we are committed to selecting best-in-class technology, enabling us to build a marketing-leading bank that is dedicated to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

“With Allica Bank savings accounts and commercial mortgage products already available, we are on track to launch several other tools and services this year. Whistlebrook’s products will be an important part of our technology as we continue to scale our business to offer an entire suite of financial services products that empower small and medium-sized businesses to succeed.

“Thanks to Whistlebrook’s Microsoft expertise, their products were easily deployed, secured and scaled on the Azure platform.”

Whistlebrook’s CEO David Webber, said: “Whistlebrook is delighted to have Allica Bank as a customer and the input of their team into driving our product evolution is invaluable.”

“Whistlebrook has been providing software to the Banking and Building Society sectors for more than 20 years and our Microsoft expertise enables organisations to gain the fullest advantage of deployment on the Azure platform.”

“The financial services marketplace is constantly evolving, and our close collaboration ensures that we are investing in the products necessary to meet the Bank’s requirements in an ever changing market place.”

Whistlebrook has specialised in providing innovative, back office, software systems to the financial services sector since 1997. In that time, the company has become a

long-established and trusted supplier to organisations within the finance industry.

The company has built up a very successful portfolio of software applications that can be installed on their own, or as an integrated suite of two or more applications that can deliver extra benefits by sharing information.

Their customers range from investment management firms, through banks of varying size, to many of the UK Building Societies, including two of the three largest.
