As 2020 moves to a close, we would like to thank all our customers for their business in what has been a very challenging but hopefully unique year.

The last nine months has brought many complex changes for all of us, with both people and businesses’ having to adapt to an ever-changing set of rules, demands and restrictions.

In March, Whistlebrook invoked its COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan in reaction to the declaration of the pandemic. Our plan involved the Whistlebrook team rapidly transitioning to home working and the implementation of a remote product deployment model. The remote deployment model has proved to be very successful, for both our customers and Whistlebrook, with many implementations commenced and completed during both lockdowns and the period in between.

During 2020 we have also entered into three new strategic partnerships, with Six Degrees, Portobello Consulting and Sytech Solutions, to meet a range of business challenges that our customers had identified to us.

Our partnership with UK-based secure cloud service provider, Six Degrees, enables the cloud deployment of all our products. Six Degrees has a proven cloud and security pedigree and their secure cloud services meet all the financial, operational and regulatory compliance requirements for outsourcing for UK financial services firms.

For our customers who may require additional IT resource to assist with data extraction and integration, Whistlebrook has partnered with Sytech Solutions. Sytech Solutions has a proven track record of helping financial institutions to extract the required data from their core systems to drive the Whistlebrook products.

We are delighted to be partnering with Portobello Consulting. Portobello bring over 20 years’ experience in providing independent finance consultancy and a track record of successfully leading and implementing system changes in UK financial institutions. Portobello Consulting has worked with our customers on several Whistlebrook product implementations during 2020, with the benefit of those implementations being executed swiftly whilst existing customer staff can focus on business as usual. In a clear demonstration of capability Portobello Consulting has facilitated the deployment of Whistlebrook’s Financial Planning (WFP®) and Business Intelligence (ALFI BI®) products, from ‘kick-off’ to ‘go-live’ within 6 weeks.

We are proud to have worked with our customers on so many implementations of our products in the past 12 months and we have been delighted to welcome a number of banks & building societies as new customers during the year. As we have continued our product investment program more and more customers have leveraged the benefits of the ALFI single trusted source of truth® data warehouse. The majority of our customers are now using multiple Whistlebrook products due to the proven benefits of the single trusted source of truth.

In 2021, Whistlebrook will continue to work closely with UK Finance and we have joint collaborations in the pipeline covering regulatory reporting and automating business insight & reporting. We will also be extending our partnerships with Mortgage Finance Gazette and The Building Society Association next year.

Our product investment program continues into 2021 and we will continue to focus on our twin objectives of keeping our existing product portfolio refreshed with continued investment and expanding the benefit of the ALFI single trusted source of truth® data warehouse with exciting new features and products.

We would like to thank those customers that have worked with us as Charter Clients to ensure our new products deliver the business benefits they need from day one.

• A brand new version of Whistlebrook Financials (WBF®)
• Enhanced MI reporting in Regulatory Reporting (WIRES®)
• ALCO pack automation as part of our new Asset & Liability Management (WALM®) product.
