London, UK – October 2022 – Whistlebrook Limited, a leading provider of back-office solutions for the financial services industry, is pleased to announce that The West Brom Building Society has chosen to extend its use of Whistlebrook’s regulatory reporting system (WIRES®), for a further five years.

WIRES® is a regulatory reporting system that allows users to make electronic submissions to OSCA,  BEEDS and Reg Data. Designed for scalability, WIRES® is suitable for financial institutions both large and small. WIRES® features are designed for control, automation and flexibility to meet ever increasing regulatory requirements. WIRES is recognised by both the Financial Conduct Authority and The Bank of England and the system is available to run in house, or on the Cloud.

The West Brom has used the WIRES® system since 2017 and has been an advocate of the system ever since. The West Brom is also an active member of the WIRES user community which now has 45 organisations as members. In 2022 the West Brom reviewed its experience of using the WIRES® system and quickly concluded that it wanted to use WIRES® for a further five years.

Jing Yee Harle, Group Regulatory Systems Accountant said “The West Brom is very pleased with its experience of using WIRES® and working with Whistlebrook over the last five years. We reviewed our regulatory reporting requirements, and we had no hesitation in extending our partnership with Whistlebrook for a further five years.”

Andy Hudders, Whistlebrook’s Sales and Marketing Director added: “We are delighted that the West Brom has decided to partner with us for a further 5 years. The West Brom and Whistlebrook have always worked well together, and we are pleased that the Society has realised the benefits of using WIRES®. We look forward to working together over the next five years.”
