Whistlebrook appoints CEO to lead future growth

As part of our future growth strategy Whistlebrook is appointing software industry veteran David Webber as Chief Executive Officer

Whistlebrook Limited, a leading provider of back office solutions, is delighted to announce that David Webber is joining the business as CEO and equity investor on 3rd July 2017. Stephen Viney Whistlebrook’s founder and current Managing Director will serve as Chairman of Whistlebrook’s board of directors along with fellow directors Andy Hudders and Jef Cawdell.

David Webber has an exemplary track record from over 20 years as a business leader within financial services software having led the turnaround of Intelligent Environments the market leaders in digital technology for the finance sector over the last five years and previously having led for a decade what is now Sopra Steria’s UK banking software business.

David brings with him a deep knowledge of the financial services sector and a track record providing strategic direction and operational insight to the business’ he leads. David will be continuing in a Board Advisory role at Intelligent Environments.

Following the announcement of his appointment, David said; “Whistlebrook is a long-established and trusted supplier in the provision of regulatory, treasury, business intelligence and accounting back office systems to the financial services sector. I am very excited by the prospect of working with the Whistlebrook team to deepen our financial services market penetration, extend our industry partnerships and broaden our portfolio of back office products.”

Stephen Viney founded Whistlebrook 20 years ago this month and will be taking the role of Chairman but continue his focus on the continued research & development of Whistlebrook’s suite of back-office products.
