The Story So Far...

Whistlebrook is a UK-based information technology (IT) company that has established a solid reputation for successful delivery of major projects. It aims to contribute to its customers' profitability by means of cost-effective, technology-independent business solutions and services.

Whistlebrook focuses on the development of leading-edge application software packages, and on the delivery of software development and maintenance projects on behalf of its clients.

The company was established in February 1997 and has focused its internal development resources on the design of a high functionality accounting package that uses modern GUI and relational database technology. For Stephen Viney, one of the co-founders of Whistlebrook, Whistlebrook Financials represents the third accounting suite development in his 22 year IT career. It brings together the experience of installing and developing accounting systems in a huge variety of businesses in the UK from retail through to manufacturing and financial services. There are now over 30 users of this package in both the UK and Ireland.

Outside of the package software market, Whistlebrook has also established a very solid reputation for the delivery of bespoke projects to major UK blue chip companies. Our key drivers in this market are good project management, technology independence and focus on timescales. Most of the projects we have completed are fixed-price, outsourced 'solution' deliveries.
