Up to the minute figures available in seconds

Nominal Ledger gives you real time figures and you can drill down on any line to look at the detail – right down to individual transactions where necessary. Using relational technology, this consolidated information is available in seconds so that you don’t have to wait for long winded reports – only to find that the information isn’t ready or is incorrect. You just need to key in a journal, re-select the P+L report and the changes are instant.

Produce a P+L report at several different levels

The Nominal Ledger revolves around a Navigator tool. You can move your position on the Navigator to one of the companies, divisions or the cost centres and you can produce a P+L at this level. Several P+L formats are available.

• Keying in journal lines? - drag and drop the accounts from the Navigator onto your journal and avoid keying mistakes, or simply cut and paste them in from a spreadsheet.
• Want the system to automatically apportion telephone costs? - select the account and define the apportionment rules.
• Want the system to auto-forecast using various algorithms? - select your cost centre and tell the system your preference for each account

Prepare budgets online

With Nominal Ledger, your cost centre managers can prepare their next year budgets on line. The Navigator will only show them their cost centre and you can control approval of budgets before they are posted.
