AnaLytics for Financial Institutions, alfi®, has been specifically designed to meet the Financial Planning and Forecasting needs of Financial institutions. At the core of the product is a comprehensive data warehouse which contains all organisational financial data. This, together with a mechanism for defining assumptions and a sophisticated engine to calculate and generate plans, feeds approved results into Business Intelligence tools for publishing to a wider audience.
Data is held at a level of granularity that allows alfi® to be used as a single source of data for planning your business. The alfi® Financial Planning module can be used to meet your budgeting and forecasting requirements.

Initially account level data is fed into the data warehouse, followed by defining the assumptions which will form the basis of your planning and forecasting.
If the results are not quite what you hoped for, then the assumptions can be amended and the plan rerun. This can be done as often as you like before approving the output for publishing.
Once the results are satisfactory the plan results can be published to the Planning BI cube for inclusion in dashboards and to analyse along with actual data and any other assumptions sets that you may have (e.g. best case v’s worst case scenarios, forecast v’s actuals, this year v’s last year).
There is no limit to the number of plans that you may have so the only limitation is the number of variations that you can think of running on your data!
